What is full colour printing?

Share:

The full colour or CMYK process is a printing method achieved by blending four primary colours, cyan, magenta, yellow and black. These ink colours will then be combined in different percentages and screen angles to create a range of colours.

Choosing full colour printing will ensure your brand stands out from the crowd and create promotional products your customers will love to receive.

Benefits of full colour printing:

● Stunning visual results at minimal cost

● Cost-effective when multiple colours are required

● Precision registration between colours

● Repeatability of colour on repeat orders

● Reduction or removal of minimum order quantities

What artwork is required?

A full colour print is ideally for artwork that has a large number of colours/shading, is photographic or contains gradients. Your design should be supplied as TIFF files (.tif) or Photoshop files (.psd). JPEG may be suitable if it is a high enough resolution. Please note that the print output will only be as good as the artwork you supply.

If you’re unsure about the suitability of your artwork give our sales team a call today on 0116 3668002.
